Following the unveiling, Torres took part in Barcelona's longstanding New Years open-door training session.
Tickets for the session were oversubscribed to raise finances for the FC Barcelona Foundation as part of their Children's Well-being project.
Each ticket cost three euros and the amount collected was donated to the Robot Project, parting of the Foundation's Childrens' Emotional Recovered-being plan which enables seriously ill and hospitalised children to visit the Museum and Camp Nou via a unmanned robot.
